Hasegawa's nippers were developed specifically for cutting gates on plastic parts.

With a blade thickness of 1mm, these nippers are designed specifically for cutting gates on plastic parts and boast excellent cutting ability, allowing them to easily reach narrow gaps. The weight distribution of the main body is designed to balance the blade and grip, taking into account the "arc movement" of the crimping part as the grip is repeatedly gripped and released, allowing you to cut with just the right amount of force. This tool will dramatically increase the efficiency of your part cutting work, and provide a sense of stability even in situations where failure is not an option. (There will be some variation in the 1mm blade thickness when the blade is attached.)
